There are several good ways to generate traffic for internet Marketers, but it all depends on what you are marketing. It could be different for different products, jobs, business’ Check out the site below that I found that may help you out. It baisically the same thing I do for my home business and it has a good turn out if you stay on top of it.

You can buy/ rent a list of a list broker and send a HTML email out. If you have enough money. Also search optimisation is the best approach, however I don’t think you’ll be able to compete with the big boys. As far as unique goes I don’t have much but I would try to get my name everywhere on the internet, build a myspace, bebo, friendster profile try to get people to add you as friends.

I have a small business and a website now i want to market it through Internet. I have read little about SEO and PPC. I spoke to a few companies but they are charging beyond my capacity. It is always difficult to find SEO for really small businesses because good SEO companies are very costly – the SEO consultants are no lesser. You can definitely find a lot of people claiming themselves as “SEO Experts” and would probably be ready to work for peanuts but in most cases these people would do more harm to your site than any good.
I worked with a guy in Kolkata who taught me some good SEO stuff, you can try contacting him. He is a professional SEO consultant and works for various big companies but do provide some free tips if you would request. Also his blog is well rated among SEO consultants in India and has good stuff that might be helpful. Check his blog http://seo-kolkata.blogspot.com and request for some tips or you can try to hire him ( not sure of affordability though) that might be of help.

Find a virtual assistant by using Odesk, Guru or some other service where people are offering the kinds of services you want to hire them for. As for chatting with online marketers, you have to do this on an individual basis.
Think you may be a bit confused also. Internet marketers are normally business owners and not looking for a job.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to just gradually unfollow everyone? So then you can follow even more people (because there is a limit to how many you can follow at once)?
I mean it’s not like people will unfollow you just because they see you unfollow them. Or will they? Do they get some sort of big notification that you unfollowed them? Does it make them unfollow you automatically? What incentive do marketers have to only unfollow the people who aren’t following back?

They are probably using and automated twitter bot that unfollows people after a certain amount of time if they don’t follow back

I worked with one guy a few times to take care of some of my company’s online promotion. He was a nice and friendly gentleman who knew much more about internet marketing than I did. I guess that’s why I hired him. I will hire in for future projects as well.
